How to Be Successful as A Stockist

At The Scented Market we offer a wholesale program for other businesses to purchase our product and sell in their stores. We appreciate every single one of our stockists and do our best to ensure their success with our product.

On top of all of the support we offer, there are a few things that you can do to ensure you are successful as a stockist with The Scented Market.

Education

Being educated in our product will help your staff sell to your customers. We provide PDF’s and other educational content that will allow you to train your staff on most important information about our product.

This information includes but is not limited to how our product is made and how to take care of our soy wax candles.

Our staff is available to you to answer any questions about our products so you can feel confident in relaying this information to your employees and customers.

It’s important to ask questions and get as much education as possible to ensure that you are not giving your customers incorrect information that could damage the brand or product.

Planning Orders

Planning your orders in advance will help you be successful as a stockist. Planning in advance allows you to forecast what product your customers will want and ensure you have inventory in stock.

Our turnaround times are listed in the Terms & Conditions but are subject to change during peak times. Of course, to avoid not having product during these times it’s important to order well ahead of the time you need the product.

Store Displays

Having products to sell is one thing, but if it’s set up poorly in your store it will be harder to sell. The best way to display our products is all together in one space with one of our table tents. This helps customers to see the full line of the brand that you carry and offers a glimpse into who we are as a brand.

 Terms & Conditions

Our terms and conditions are a requirement that must be signed before being onboarded to our wholesale program. They are a great reference point to being successful.

Inside the terms & conditions you will find sections on minimum order quantity, turnaround times, shipping options, brand integrity and what access you have to our materials.

Following the terms and conditions outlined in this document will ensure you have success as a stockist with our product, along with all these tips.

Most importantly, you should stay up to date with all new products at The Scented Market. We keep you updated with a weekly email on new products, launch dates and education. Planning your orders around our new products will benefit you and your customers greatly.
